A New Beginning..Ok Jose!

United fans find themselves at crossroads. For long we knew success and stability and then we experienced the ups and down of the post Ferguson era. Moyes' and LVG's reign at United rarely gave the fans a reason to smile. A lot of money was spent, big names came in,but we tasted very little success in the form of a solitary title - The FA CUP win this year.

LVG  knew his days at United were numbered as the shadow of the mercurial Mourinho always loomed large on the club. Being good friends with Sir Alex Ferguson, Mourinho must have asked his pal to slip in a good word for him at United. There were many who were cautious, such as Sir Bobby Charlton and many more fans felt the same way.
The million dollar question is whether Jose Mourinho will follow the traditional attacking style of football that United is known for or will he employ his own tactics -the most infamous being 'parking the bus.' Mourinho no doubt  is a gifted manager and has won silverware with a number of teams, but will he be able to replicate the same form at United and will he have a command over the dressing room like Ferguson or Busby? United fans would like to see a manager who wants to build teams and is here for the long run and Mourinho seems to shift base camp every two or three years.

The manager is a witty and erudite chap but often speaks his mind and seems to be the cynosure of all. At United this approach may be frowned upon by many as most fans feel that nobody is above the club. Mourinho may have to come to terms with the ground reality at Manchester United and reign himself in a bit.

Mourinho has made three acquisitions since taking over . Eric Bailly,Henry Mkhitaryan and the legend Zlatan Ibrahimovich who intends becoming a god at United (CANTONA GUFFAWING) . We hope that they shine at United but who will Jose sell to make space and fund a deal  for the prodigal son Paul Pogba. Mata a fan favourite seems to be in the cross hairs and Mourinho will have to tread softly for he may not only upset the fans but Mata's compatriots like Herrera and De Gea.

Mourinho should be a given a chance and he must prove to the United fans that he is indeed the 'Special One'.It is about time that the Great Manchester United finds its feet and goes back to what it does best..Winning.We wish Jose Mourinho all the best at United and we hope that he will  bring  glory and the thunder back to the Theatre of Dreams.Fans would be  looking forward to the pre-season tour and the Community shield game versus the Champions Leicester City. it would be a statement of intention by United and a stamp of Mourinho's authority if we could drub the foxes by a big margin. Here's looking at you Ranieri. Hopefully the prodigal Pogba signs on the dotted line before the transfer window shuts.(Like Paul Scholes, I feel the money we are going to spend on one of our own is a joke)
