The Red Devils take on the defending Champions Leicester City in the Community shield at Wembley on Sunday. With the new boss Mourinho at the helm,United will be looking to fare better against Leicester who outfoxed and outclassed us with a win and a draw last season.
United will have learnt not to take the foxes lightly and Mourinho will be working hard on the field and the drawing board to neutralise Ranieri's game plan .
Many United players have recovered from injuries and this game would help with their match fitness. Mourinho will go for the kill as he would want to send a message to all the teams in the league. Undoubtedly, defeating the current champions would give him, the players and the fans great but temporary happiness.
Let's hope the curse of the community shield doesn't effect us but this game should serve us as
a launchpad for a good and fruitful season.
